Back to bangs

One Friday night I hastily made the decision to cut my own bangs...

and it turned out pretty alright. Phew. Not that it's something new to me because I've had bangs for the longest time: when I was a kid, when I was a teen (secondary school through poly), and then I started growing it out for about a good 3 years. So now I'm back at it. No regrets!

It wasn't all that impromptu though because I've been toying with the idea of having bangs for awhile since I was really bored of my hairstyle, and was really inspired by the french girl hairstyle. But to cut my own hair myself was pretty terrifying because nobody wants to get stuck with crappy hair for months, right? Fortunately the whole process was a breeze.

In the past my bangs were thick and straight, and this time round they are sparse and choppy. Even though I still have to trim them regularly, it's a lot easier to maintain my fringe now because I don't have to make sure it is uniformly straight. Rather, I snip a little here and there and just make sure it's not hindering my vision.

So, to anyone thinking of getting this hairdo as well, I'd say, just do it! Even if you end up not liking it, you can just sweep the long bangs to a side. Never try, never know. ;-)
