Living a dream...

dress: Verge Girl; awesome staycay courtesy of my best girlie 🌹

Throwback to...
one of the best Sunday mornings, waking up to the view of this garden balcony, with cable cars dotting the sky in the background. If all early mornings were like that, prancing about on the grass that is fulfilling my childhood dream of having a garden(from reading too many of Enid Blyton's) for the day. I would most definitely be an early riser!

Thank goodness the room upgrade didn't happen in the end because I very much prefer having this garden > a private pool, even if we didn't get to use the donut float by how it's actually meant to be used... !

This ruffle wrap dress, coincidentally named the Sunday Floral Midi Dress, is THE dress to frolic around the garden/lounge by the pool. I'm a sucker for ruffled wraps anything, so I totes fell in love with this beauty more than I thought I would. One less problem to mull over if I go on a beach vacay because I know I will definitely bring this piece along with me. ❣

After dragging out a whole half an hour saying "let's go down for breakfast" but refusing to budge from the terrace, we finally got down to a super spread at Forest. The rice noodle soup was so good and now as I sit typing this I regret not taking a whole bowl to myself because I was too full from eating everything else. My only regret from that morning, lol! But it was quickly compensated with my hotpot lunch afterwards.

Perfect Sunday, indeed.

done the deets

top: Warehouse via ASOS; jeans: GAP

You know sometimes you just contemplate for too long on whether you should buy something? And then only when that item goes out of stock that you know you REALLY want it? That's what happened with me for this top. I've been wanting a lace top for ages so I wasn't sure what I was doing mulling over it for so long. But then I'm super patient when it comes to this and I camped for the longest time, keeping tab on my ASOS saved list every day. I immediately snagged the piece in my size when it came back in stock and had it shipped to my sister's friend who is in London because this item can't be shipped directly via ASOS to Singapore and the stores in Singapore don't even carry it! How frustrating.

But I have absolutely no regrets over this beauty because it's one of my favourite pieces in the wardrobe right now, and I've actually gotten so many compliments when I wore it out. A white lace blouse is definitely one of the must-haves in any wardrobe. Oh, and a ruffle top! I've just bought one which I'm really loving as well, will post the snaps of it in the coming updates. It's definitely worth waiting for the perfect piece of your dreams to come, rather than buy something on impulse just because it somewhat looks like what you're looking for. Patience is a virtue, indeed!
